TOSA Policies

Refund requests:

Received more than 30 days before the start of a program will be subject to a refund less at $25 administrative fee received 14-30 days before the start of a program, will be subject to a 25% administration fee on the total registration amount.

Received less than 14 days but more than 2 days before the start of a program, will be subject to a 40% administration fee on the total registration amount.

Received less than 2 days before the start of a program will not be granted.

Registration refunds for medical reasons can only be processed upon receipt of a note from a medical professional. These refunds will be subject to a 15% administration fee, plus a fee for any sessions that transpired prior to withdrawal.

No partial refunds will be issued for individual sessions missed by the participant.

TOSA reserves the right to move players to the appropriate training group at their discretion.

If a session is canceled due to an Act of God (adverse weather conditions, smoke, heat, extreme cold, lightning, flood, or pandemic) we will do our best to reschedule. However if a suitable date cannot be found, the session will be canceled without refund.

School Academy Discounts:

Students who have attended the soccer academy through grade 8 and grade 9 will be eligible for a 5% discount of fees in their grade 10 year.

Students who have attended the soccer academy through grade 8, grade 9, grade 10 will be eligible for a 10% discount of fees in their grade 11 year.

Students who have attended the soccer academy through grade 8, grade 9, grade 10, grade 11 will be eligible for a 15% discount of fees in their grade 12 year. 

Families who have multiple players attending the academy will be eligible for discounts. A family with 2 or more players attending the school district soccer academy, one player will pay the full fees, each player
thereafter will be eligible for a 5% discount of fees.

We are also pleased to offer the equivalent of one scholarship each year for a student or students within SD22 to attend the school district soccer academy. Applications will be emailed out upon request.  This scholarship may be divided between players if so determined by TOSA.

Return to Play Policy:

1. Concussion

Concussion symptoms must have completely resolved and documented medical clearance completed by a medical doctor, certified concussion specialist, or nurse practitioner must be received before resuming full contact practice or game play. Clearance from a physiotherapist or like that is NOT certified in concussion treatment is not sufficient.

2. Injury Requiring Surgery

Players must be cleared by a physiotherapist and have documented medical clearance by a medical doctor or nurse practitioner before resuming full contact practice or game play.

3. Long Term Injury (no surgery)

Players must have written clearance to play from a physiotherapist or doctor before resuming game play. An email will suffice in this case.

4. Long Term Contagious Illness

Players must have a clearance letter from a doctor in order to return to the team.

The most common contagious diseases are categorized as bacterialviralfungal and protozoan.  Examples are pneumonia, covid, measles, chicken pox, meningitis, mononucleosis, pertussis (whooping cough).
